They ensure the floor is fully stocked with the right product, accurately priced, and signed with the right sizes, styles, and colors. Areas include Apparel & Accessories (A&A), Home, and Seasonal.
Qualifications:
- Comprehension of the fundamental elements that constitute our GUEST service fundamentals and having direct experience in promoting a culture that prioritizes exceptional guest service.
- Grasping the fundamental aspects of retail business operations, such as tracking department sales trends, managing inventory effectively, understanding customer shopping behaviors, formulating pricing and promotional strategies, and implementing basic visual merchandising techniques.
- Understanding of industry trends that encompass style variations, seasonal fluctuations, and brand uniqueness.
- Proficiency in arranging, restocking, and pricing the floor according to the guest's top priorities is crucial.
Responsibilities:
- Create a friendly and inviting environment through authentic greetings for all guests.
- Promptly analyze whether a guest seeks help or opts for self-reliance and adjust your interactions accordingly.

- Support alterations to the product assortment and maintain an aesthetically pleasing setting by setting transitions punctually.
- Manage the organization of the sales floor to ensure items are in stock and properly signed.
- Verify the precision of regular and promotional signage within specified categories.
- Execute modifications, promotional plans, and visual arrangements for specified merchandise sections.
- Fulfill the duties related to implementing and reviewing the changes in prices for specific regions on a weekly basis.
- To uphold precision in inventory records, it is necessary to conduct RFID scans and system audits.
- Efficiently execute restocking in the storage area to address guest needs.
- Comply with the company's regulations for maintaining backroom organization.
- Utilize platforms like MyCheckout or the Target App to assist customers in locating selections that are unavailable in the store.
- Convey heartfelt appreciation to guests and reaffirm your availability to assist with any future inquiries.
- Upholding ethical standards, prioritizing safety protocols, and complying with regulations should be consistently demonstrated.
- Comply with safety protocols, pinpoint and rectify dangers, and establish a protected atmosphere.
- Aid in guest services by offering assistance with backup cash handling, fulfilling orders for pickup, and facilitating drive-up services while following regulations, such as those related to the sale of alcoholic beverages.
- Carry out supplementary tasks as requested depending on the operational requirements.
