Job Summary

Ryder works behind the scenes providing technology-driven supply chain, dedicated transportation, and fleet management solutions to companies of all sizes from emerging retailers to some of the world's most known brands. Requirements:

• Obtaining a high school diploma or its similar alternative is a common prerequisite in the job market
• Meeting specifications involves having a clear driving record, personal transportation, and being prepared to travel locally for approximately 25-50% of the day
• Showing a high level of technical competence, including a proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, skilled operation of scanners, and accurate data entry of orders into a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Should be able to handle loads of up to 50 pounds single-handedly
• The ability to perform tasks inside as well as outside is essential for this position

Requirements:

• Candidates who possess a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification are favored
• Preference will be given to applicants with at least one year of experience in warehouse work or powered industrial truck operations
• Holds a legitimate license as a forklift operator
• Proficient abilities in expressing ideas both verbally and in writing
• Skilled in carrying out tasks alone or in a team setting
• Having the aptitude to collaborate effectively within a diverse work environment
• Possessing the skill to establish and uphold professional connections across various tiers of the company (coworkers, teams, clients, supervisors) and adept at operating in a diverse workplace setting
• Thorough and consistent
• Being prompt and having a solid attendance track record is highly valued
• Works autonomously with little need for oversight
• Displays a keen sense of taking the lead independently
• Executes tasks with exceptional precision, even when faced with pressure
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Capacity to withstand standing for extended periods
• Skill in performing responsibilities with a focus on health and safety practices
• Must have the ability to work flexibly across different shifts as required
• Recognized for being detail-oriented and for maintaining rigorous follow-up practices.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake warehouse operations, which may encompass loading, selecting, packing, dispatching, receiving, operating forklifts, and performing stock assessments
• Adhering to the contract's performance measurement criteria while carrying out responsibilities
• Tasked with the accurate selection and packaging of goods, conducting audits, initiating totes, staging products for transportation, and managing truck loading and unloading operations
• Responsible for managing the administrative documentation within a warehouse environment, including picking lists, return procedures, and shipping paperwork
• Providing support for technical issues and maintenance tasks related to the automated packing system during the core production shift hour
• Following the performance measurement criteria outlined in the contractual agreement
• Completes tasks beyond the designated responsibilities.

Equipment:

• Management of Incoming Inventory: Organizing and overseeing the processing of products like bolts, cables, reels, wires, and anchors.
• Pallet jacks, along with stand-up and sit-down forklifts, are essential machinery for efficient material handling
