Job Summary

Ryder works behind the scenes providing technology-driven supply chain, dedicated transportation, and fleet management solutions to companies of all sizes from emerging retailers to some of the world's most known brands. Our solutions cover the entire supply chain from port-to-door including warehouse management, distribution management, e-commerce fulfillment, managed transportation, last mile delivery, freight brokerage, truck leasing, maintenance, truck rental, and used vehicle sales, as well as provide proprietary technology platforms and trained employees.

Requirements:

• Attainment of a high school diploma or its equivalent is necessary for many entry-level positions
• The ideal candidate must possess a clean driving record, have their own vehicle, and be ready to travel locally for an estimated 25 to 50% of the day
• Exhibiting a keen technical proficiency in utilizing tools like Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, efficiently operating scanners, and accurately inputting orders into a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Obligated to be able to lift objects up to 50 pounds on one's own
• Applicants should be prepared to work in both indoor and outdoor conditions

Requirements:

• Having a high school diploma or a comparable certification is recommended
• Those with one year or more of experience in warehouse tasks or operating powered industrial trucks are strongly encouraged to apply
• Licensed as a proficient forklift operator
• Skilled in clear and articulate verbal and written interaction
• Possessing the skill to function autonomously and collaboratively within a group
• Proficient in team cooperation and thriving amidst workplace diversity
• Adept at cultivating and sustaining professional connections across various levels of the organization (coworkers, teams, customers, managers) and competent in working within a diverse work environment
• Comprehensive and trustworthy
• Showing up on time and having a commendable attendance record is vital

• Competence in handling items up to 35 lbs by lifting or pushing/pulling

• Demonstrating a keen eye for details paired with strong adherence to follow-up procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Complete warehouse functions, such as loading, picking, packaging, shipping, receiving, operating forklifts, and performing inventory audits
• Abiding by the measurement parameters stipulated in the contract during task completion
• Responsible for ensuring precise selection and packaging, reviewing orders, introducing totes, preparing products for shipment, and handling the loading and unloading of vehicles
• Duties consist of managing the administrative tasks in a warehouse, such as picking lists, product returns, and billing paperwork
• Offering maintenance and technical support for diverse aspects connected to the automated packing system throughout the core production shift
• Executing obligations in alignment with the performance measurement standards detailed in the agreement
• Executes other duties as required.

Equipment:

• Product Logistics: Organizing the handling of inbound items like bolts, cables, reels, wires, and anchors.
• Equipment such as stand-up forklifts, sit-down forklifts, and pallet jacks play a critical role in material handling operations
