CDL A Truck Driver

Job Summary

This full-time CDL A Delivery Truck Driver position at US Foods offers a dynamic opportunity to serve as a critical team member, delivering food and supplies to local customers. Responsibilities

• Deliver food products to customer locations according to scheduled delivery times
• Unload deliveries using a hand truck and place items in designated customer storage areas
• Perform manual heavy lifting of up to 80 pounds and make frequent stops throughout the shift
• Operate during night shifts, typically between 8:00 PM and 12:00 AM, from Sunday to Friday
• Provide outstanding customer service and verify deliveries with customers
• Collect payment when required (cash or checks)
• Work in various weather conditions while ensuring timely and accurate deliveries

Qualifications and Experience

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid CDL Class A license with required endorsements and DOT qualifications
• Minimum of six months commercial driving experience, or three months in food/beverage delivery
• No DUI convictions within the past three years and no more than two traffic violations in the past two years
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to pass a DOT physical
