Job Summary

Ryder works behind the scenes providing technology-driven supply chain, dedicated transportation, and fleet management solutions to companies of all sizes from emerging retailers to some of the world's most known brands. Requirements:

• Many employers seek candidates who have completed high school or hold an equivalent certificate
• Meeting specifications involves having a clear driving record, personal transportation, and being prepared to travel locally for approximately 25-50% of the day
• Demonstrating a strong aptitude for technical tasks, such as using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel effectively, operating scanners proficiently, and entering orders accurately into a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Able to manage lifting tasks of up to 50 pounds without aid
• The ability to perform tasks inside as well as outside is essential for this position

Requirements:

• Having a high school diploma or its equivalent is desirable
• A background of one year or more in warehouse duties or using powered industrial trucks is advantageous
• Holds a legitimate license as a forklift operator
• Demonstrates strength in verbal and written communication aptitude
• Adept at working independently as well as collaboratively
• Having the aptitude to collaborate effectively within a diverse work environment
• Skilled in fostering and maintaining professional relationships throughout different organizational levels (peers, work groups, clients, supervisors) and proficient in adapting to a varied workplace atmosphere
• Consistently thorough and reliable
• The significance of being punctual and having a good attendance record cannot be ignored
• Works proficiently with minimal supervision
• Demonstrates a remarkable level of resourcefulness
• Executes tasks with exceptional precision, even when faced with pressure
• Proficiency in lifting and moving objects up to 35 lbs in mass
• Aptitude for enduring long periods of standing
• Skill in performing responsibilities with a focus on health and safety practices
• The candidate should be open to working on multiple shifts as per the business needs
• Known for meticulous attention to detail and consistent post-action monitoring.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake warehouse operations, which may encompass loading, selecting, packing, dispatching, receiving, operating forklifts, and performing stock assessments
• Fulfilling duties while following the performance assessment guidelines specified in the contract
• In charge of ensuring the accurate selection and packing of goods, auditing orders, introducing totes, staging products for shipment, and managing truck loading and unloading activities
• Responsible for managing the administrative documentation within a warehouse environment, including picking lists, return procedures, and shipping paperwork
• Supplying assistance for technical and maintenance needs pertaining to the automated packaging system during the central production shift hour
• Complying with the performance assessment guidelines set out in the contract
• Completes any other duties as assigned.

Equipment:

• Merchandise Reception: Handling the incoming products that include bolts, cables, reels, wires, and anchors.
• Among the equipment options for material movement are stand-up forklifts, sit-down forklifts, and pallet jacks
