Job Summary

This position serves as an onsite HR Partner focused on both tactical and strategic HR functions within a high-density warehouse or geographical area. The role supports the full employee lifecycle by partnering closely with operations to maximize employee engagement, performance, development, and retention. Responsibilities include managing employee relations, talent planning, compliance, and organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Execute HR strategies focused on employee engagement and retention in collaboration with HR Business Partners
  • Provide daily HR support and guidance to location leadership
  • Act as a liaison with Employee Relations and HRES to address HR matters and enter data into Workday
  • Ensure effective onboarding and training for new employees
  • Champion HR systems adoption (Workday, MyRyder)
  • Lead employee relations efforts, coaching, and assist in investigations
  • Leverage data analytics and workforce trends to drive HR decisions and improvements
  • Coordinate hiring events and school partnerships; collaborate on staffing plans
  • Support development programs (FLP, LMT) and provide performance tools to managers
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across the site
  • Partner with Labor Relations on union negotiations and risk assessments
  • Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and employment laws

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; or an additional four (4) years of experience
  • Three (3) years or more of experience in HR functions such as employee relations, organizational development, talent acquisition, and compensation required
  • Workday experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of federal and state employment laws required
  • Proven relationship-building and consulting skills
  • Strong conflict management, communication, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
