Job Summary

Ryder works behind the scenes providing technology-driven supply chain, dedicated transportation, and fleet management solutions to companies of all sizes from emerging retailers to some of the world's most known brands. Requirements:

• Attaining a high school diploma or a comparable certification is essential for career advancement in various fields
• Prospective candidates should maintain a clean driving record, possess a personal vehicle, and expect to be on the road within the area for 25-50% of the day
• Exhibiting a keen technical proficiency in utilizing tools like Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, efficiently operating scanners, and accurately inputting orders into a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Required to be capable of lifting objects weighing 50 pounds unaided
• Candidates must be comfortable with transitioning between indoor and outdoor work environments

Requirements:

• Preference is given to candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Preference is given to candidates with over a year of experience in warehouse operations or working with powered industrial trucks
• Officially certified for forklift operation with a valid license
• Skilled in clear and articulate verbal and written interaction
• Competent in working alone or as part of a team
• Demonstrating proficiency in teamwork and thriving in a multifaceted work setting
• Adept at cultivating and sustaining professional connections across various levels of the organization (coworkers, teams, customers, managers) and competent in working within a diverse work environment
• Dependable and meticulously detailed
• Having a reliable attendance record and being punctual are indispensable traits
• Operates autonomously with little need for constant monitoring
• Displays a commendable level of self-directedness
• Displays a notable level of correctness, even in stressful situations
• Competence in handling items up to 35 lbs by lifting or pushing/pulling
• Ability to sustain standing for a prolonged time frame

Responsibilities:

• Engage in warehouse activities, which could consist of loading, selecting, packaging, sending, taking in, operating forklifts, and conducting inventory counts
• Abiding by the measurement parameters stipulated in the contract during task completion
• Responsible for precisely picking and packing items, auditing orders, starting totes, arranging products for transport, and overseeing the loading and unloading of trucks
• Tasked with handling the regular paperwork activities within a warehouse, such as picking sheets, returns processing, and bill of lading documentation
• Offering maintenance and technical support for diverse aspects connected to the automated packing system throughout the core production shift
• Meeting the performance evaluation benchmarks specified in the contract
• Handles additional tasks as directed.

Equipment:

• Product Logistics: Organizing the handling of inbound items like bolts, cables, reels, wires, and anchors.
• Stand-up and sit-down forklifts, together with pallet jacks, serve as integral components in warehouse operations
