Inventory Control Specialist

Job Summary:

The main responsibility of this position is to safely and efficiently load and unload freight, while also sorting it according to the purchase order (PO) and SKU. The individual is expected to use a radio frequency (RF) gun to locate and select merchandise for shipment to stores, scan boxes, open cases, and place them on the correct conveyor for sorting. They will also be responsible for packing single and multiple customer orders and affixing the correct shipping labels to packages before placing them on the correct conveyor for transport. Additionally, they will induct apparel and footwear onto the tilt trays and pack products sorted by them for shipment to stores. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, and the pay rate is $14.94 per hour. Full-time hours are available with the first shift being from Monday to Friday, which covers morning to afternoon hours, and the second shift being from Sunday to Thursday which covers afternoon to evening hours. Responsibilities:

• Precise and swift packing of goods is an integral component in facilitating the processing and delivery of orders to designated stores and clients.
• Transfer the products for processing and put them in cartons, while moving the products for transportation.

• Following procedures is essential in the correct handling of Return To Vendor, returned and liquidation items.
• Capacity to cope with and excel in a fast-paced professional landscape.
• Skillful execution in tasks such as reading, writing, business math, and data analysis is expected.
• Communicates any concerns to the relevant parties, including the supervisor, manager, safety director or HR manager.
• Adopts the recommended protocols and procedures that were presented during the orientation and training sessions.
